Dr. Robinson Gaviria, MPH, AP, DOM, is a Florida Licensed Acupuncture Physician and Clinical Herbalist. He is an NCCAOM nationally Board Certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. He also holds a Master’s degree in Public Health which led him to a fulfilling career protecting our South Florida communities, keeping them safe from environmental health hazards. He graduated valedictorian from Oriental Medical School and puts his skills to use as part of the Medical Reserve Corps.

Of Colombian descent, and with close knit ties to the Peruvian community, Robinson, from an early age, was introduced at home and by close friends to the rich tradition of natural remedies that have served his ancestral heritage. His interest in the most ancient and natural medicine, herbs, led him to pursue a career in Oriental Medicine. Acupuncture came as a pleasant surprise when he became a patient to treat his allergies, experiencing a safe, reliable, and medication-free turn around from his condition. 

Robinson is committed to make the benefits of this extraordinary health modality available to all. He is convinced of the transformative power Oriental Medicine possesses, not only to enable and activate an individual’s body to innately heal, but also its potential to prevent disease and to keep our communities strong and healthy.   

In his free time, Robinson enjoys the outdoors and practices mountain biking, kayaking, soccer, and basketball. As a musician he plays and aids in teaching young people music with Kuyayky. His friends at the Kuyayky Foundation and he volunteer their time to help impoverished children in Andean communities in addition to promoting Andean culture and music.
